A Native of Memphis Tenn., Nelson Holland is a graduate of the University of Tennessee. He received his bachelors degree in 1977 and went on to receive his Masters in Political Science in 1979. Upon graduation, he moved to the Atlanta area where he taught history in Clayton County. Nelson became a Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) in 1991 and a Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) in 1997. Nelson is a member of the Athens Chamber of Commerce and Athens First United Methodist Church. In his spare time, Nelson enjoys playing golf. Holland Financial Services, formerly based in Gwinnett County has been serving the Athens area for the past ten years.
